I’m rounding the homestretch with one last wedding to go next week. I am very excited! Another thing that i’ve discovered recently is…what gets me excited: shooting kids! There is a different type of joy i get from it. Kids are not only pure, innocent, and simple…but there’s something more.. It’s the little quirks they all have, the sparkle in their eyes when you give them a lollipop, and just their laughter is enough to make me smile inside. The kids shoot i had back in October has kept me quite busy with editing and filling in orders! But i can safely say that all the families have received their orders and now i want to share a few of them…
Pay attention to their expressions and quirks! I do direct a lot during my shoots but gosh, they’re the darnest and cutest little people with their own personalities! Check out James’s firemen boots. 
Look at the cape
the joy in these two melts me, there’s so much laughter inside and out..i think they were laughing during the entire shoot. they seem to have a loving brotherly relationship.. it’s that innocence and pure joy i was talking about..
The lollipop brought out some funny moments…a lot of the kids looked at it as if they’ve never seen such a thing. my last kid actually took a lick, that was pretty memorable. I told his mom that he was the only kid who actually licked it, she said “Oh, so we’re THAT kind of family.” I thought that was pretty funny the way she said it.
I think this little guy’s got a lot of model potential…i will watch out for him. while everyone’s telling him to smile, i found that when he wasn’t smiling, there was a kind of depth in his eyes that you don’t usually see in kids. So i said to him, “it’s okay, don’t smile.”
There were more and unfortunately too many to go through to post! I hope the mom’s understand.. ALL the kids were(are) CUTE!!
