People have often asked Joe and Kristin, “when did you know?”.
Surely, it wasn’t when they were in high school. In fact, Kristin was dating Joe’s best friend at the time. And the dreaded evil that most teens went through....braces. Not a good combination when you meet your future husband as Kristin saw it. But after almost ten years, Joe and Kristin reconnected like no time had passed. Joe says he “knew” on their first date. With an extra ticket in hand, Kristin invited Joe to a football game with her beloved UCLA Bruins. They were both interested by halftime. Kristin “knew” when she couldn’t imagine spending a day without him. And it didn’t take very long to realize that. Less than two years after their night at the Rose Bowl, Joe and Kristin will be married.
And i can’t wait till the special day….

but i just love how this image turned out! Some of my clients often asks what’s involved in my engagement sessions. Well, it starts from the very first email or phone call. I’m not bringing my camera and just snapping away that day. But i coordinate your outfits, from color to style, and accessories. Sometimes i have my clients send me a few images of the outfits they plan on wearing and i’ll give them some feedback and suggestions. The day of the session, i guide and direct the poses while evoking real emotions. It’s important to me that real emotions are exuded and of course, every little detail matters. Take this shot here, who’s wearing the hat, where Kristin’s hand is placed, Joe’s expression….every.little.detail. matters. So there you have it, a Sandra P kinda experience. :) I promise i will upload the rest of the images from the session soon!
