Chef Austin

This weekend i made my way to Old Town Pasadena and shot portraits for an up and coming chef, Chef Austin. Austin is starting his catering business and needed a couple of headshots for his website. Austin studied at the CSCA, California School of Culinary Arts. Shortly after, he started catering for his mom’s functions and with word of mouth, getting referrals…so now he needs his website and bio images up! It must have been 100 degrees but we were both good sports and finished the session with some great images. **edited - i promise more images on it’s way… i’ve been so busy!

McDonald’s iced coffee

If you haven’t tried it yet, here’s more incentive to try…McDonald’s iced coffee. It’s already cheap but hey, first one is free if you purchase one of equal or lesser value. It’s gotta be the best tasting coffee for that price i think.

need a DJ?

Sometimes it makes things easier when you could find your needs at a one stop. I have joined teams with a very talented DJ who’s been spinning the ones and twos for over 15 years. (He started young!) He has a DJ partner and also my friend that spins at Soul Sessions. (They’re both brilliant). He has received so many compliments for his music selection, feeling the crowd, and impeccable timing that i’m happy to annouce that if my clients need a DJ, i highly recommend this DJ…..not because i know him personally but really he’s just really good!! They’re both really awesome! They usually work together to put their best work forward in any event.
