I love quotes, fortune cookies, inspirational messagesHere is one that keeps me motivated when i lose sight..

If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

See you guys next week! I’m going on a little adventure. ;)

weddings galore

I know, i haven’t been blogging lately. So much going on, three weddings in the past two weekends, from Palos Verdes to Burbank to Palm Springs! On top of that, the weather has been crrraazzy!  My friend from the 6th grade married her boyfriend of over 10 years at the lovely Palos Verdes Country Club.  Our good friend, Nate married his gf at the Castaway in Burbank.  There are some changes going on. I’m working on changing this blog around a bit so excuse me! I’ll be out of town this coming Wednesday till Sunday. I won’t have much time to blog and post pictures from the weddings! Here’s one for now..

Bye Bye Baby Urtle

This little guy lived a good 8-9 yrs. Before he passed, he got to see the “world.” We let him out on the lawn to roam freely catching the wind which might of led to his passing. Red ear sliders are sensitive to temperature changes. This little guy has always been a bit on the fragile side unlike his sibling who is about a foot long and strong. I am not sure when he passed. I should’ve noticed the big turtle trying to get my attention earlier that day. I thought he was just hungry, i tried feeding him but he wasn’t eating. The little guy was under the log, thinking he was just sleeping, i left them. It wasn’t until later that night, Art noticed it. By that time it was already too late. Just like that he was gone, with his eyes still open. We put him in a separate bucket with warm water hoping to save him then transferred him into a shoebox. We stretched his head and limbs but nothing. I googled to see what others had to say but it was all the same. Tears streamed down my face. He was gone. This little guy full of personality, always hitting his head against the glass, a bit on the slow side…..is gone.
