vania + jesus {engaged}

After ten years, the sparks are still there. Vania and Jesus, two very special people. Their relationship is full of laughter, freshness, and love. Jesus proposed to Vania at the Getty Center so it was only appropriate we went back to the same location to shoot their engagement session. I had so much fun with these two. Art came along to help out and ended the night off with dinner at Pink Taco in Westwood!

Jesus reminds me so much of the handsome Javier Bardem…from no country for old men but of course not the way he looked in that movie, but in real life..

I love Jesus’s tattoos of the stars. It has their birthdays tattooed on the stars… Can you say, “awwww….”?

Vania graduated from UCLA. Jesus and her spent a lot of time there so that was another location we shot at.

Look at these two, they were cracking me up!!

melody + win, the setup

A mutual friend of Melody and Win’s decided to take things in her own hands when she invited Melody out for a belated birthday dinner while failing to mention that another person was going to join them. Even though this was clearly a set up, the friend didn’t expect the two to hit it off so well and end up getting married!

First impressions are always important, after they parted that night, Melody thought he was the nicest and most interesting person she’d ever met! Win must have felt the same way because a week after this initial meeting, Win mustered the courage to ask Melody out for coffee. After 3 hours of talking from anything and everything, it was time for dinner. Win hops in his car to follow Melody around Pasadena to the restaurant. While following Melody, Win gets in a minor car accident. Melody thought he had simply gotten lost. Being the gentleman, Win didn’t want to spoil the night by telling Melody so he waited till the end of the night. Melody knew then and there that she had met someone really special..

Melody and Win both grew up in the LA area so it was only appropriate and per Melody’s request this E session took place in LA. We shot at Downtown Union Station, Chinatown and the Disney Concert Hall. Check them out!

is it me or is it getting hot in here?

I love this dress on Melody. I loved the color and everything about it! Look at Ms. Sexy! I usually help my clients coordinate their outfits and i’m glad she brought this dress to chose from!
